Your flashcards

Pick your flashcards and review a few minutes a day. Spaced repetition makes every word stay with you.

Why do these flashcards work?

Your memory forgets along a curve: a new word, if nobody asks you for it, slips away within a few days. Spaced repetition is the simplest fix there is — the flashcards ask you for each word again just before you would forget it.

At first the question comes back in minutes, and then the next day. Every time you get it right, the return stretches: six days, fifteen, a month… The word stops being a visitor and comes to live in your memory.

Your only job is to be honest with the buttons. If you didn't know it, tap "Again" without shame: that's how the flashcards learn when they should ask again. Nobody sees your mistakes, and your progress is saved only on your phone.

A few minutes a day, nothing more. Below are the 4,000 most common nouns in Spanish — each with its article (el / la), so you learn the gender together with the word — plus its English meaning and an example sentence. Your first flashcards are waiting.

🎮 The game

The matching game has its own door: pair each word with its partner before the clock runs out. Three rounds, no penalties — just play.

Twenty a day is a good pace to start. Pick 50 or 100 for a bigger day — or All, and every new card is yours whenever you want it. You can always keep studying past the daily serving.
